EDGE – A Middle School Ministry
EDGE is a Catholic middle school youth ministry that provides a safe and fun place for youth to find community. The EDGErs (youth) will be able to share their faith in a safe environment with others. Each evening of EDGE is designed to be engaging and fun for the youth while teaching them about our Catholic faith, building community and learning about God’s awesome love.
We encourage middle school students to give EDGE a try!! New experiences can be scary but you won’t know if you like it until you have given it a chance. We all know how difficult middle school can be. EDGE gives the youth a place were they can see and hear about God’s amazing love for us all and feel safe and free to share their faith. Giving our youth a strong foundation in our faith now will help them navigate through the difficult years. It won’t make it easier but they will know they have a loving God that they can trust.
EDGE meets Sunday evenings from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in O’Reilly Hall. We start with a meal (parents will be asked to take turns bringing a meal for the youth) and then we move to activity and discussion. After EDGE we celebrate the mass together.
Service opportunities will be given to the youth throughout the year. Look for our 2017—2018 calendar of meeting dates and activities for more information. Volunteers spaces are limited so contact Mayra if you are interested.
We look forward to meeting your youth and having her or him be part of this fun and Christ centered ministry.

Life Teen High School Ministry
Welcome to LIFE TEEN
At St. Anthony’s, we’re investing in our youth in a big way. Every single high schooler in the Parish is someone we care about and want to meet. Show up any time. Life Teen is all about you—the teens. We want to come to know you were you are in your spiritual life.
LIFE TEEN meets Sunday evenings 5:00 pm – 7:00 PM followed by the youth Mass. We gather in St. Francis Hall where we will start by sharing a meal, parents will be asked to take turns bringing food for the youth. The evening is engages the teens where every they may be in their spiritual journey. Each week will have a different focus or topic, some focused on a specific teaching of the Church, some on a major piece of the faith, all working together to help you understand what we believe as Catholics and why we believe it.
Service opportunities will be available for all teens to participate in all year. At the end of mass we are asked to “go forth to love and serve the Lord”. Through service we are acting out our faith in the way we are called as Christians. We encourage teens to take advantage of these opportunities. Check the calendar for dates and locations. Please contact Mayra Mendoza if you are interested as spaces are limited.
