Edge Middle School Ministry
Edge is a Catholic middle school youth ministry program. It provides a safe fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. Catholic teaching is presented in a way that young people can understand through catechetical nights, issue nights and social nights.
Why is Edge Important? We all remember that middle school was awkward and difficult. That hasn’t changed. However, societal shifts have made the middle school years more difficult than ever. Peers gain greater influence and parental authority is called into question. As they shift socially they are also experiencing tremendous changes emotionally and intellectually. Wading through all the difficulties of this time of life, they have real questions and need real answers.
Life Teen High School Ministry
Life Teen strengthens our teens’ Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church. This program offers opportunities for high school teens to grow their faith life via leadership conferences, inspiration tours, mission trips, blogs and local events.
“God is love.” – 1 John 4:16 The purpose of this rule of life is to root our lives in Christ Jesus. A life in Christ calls for dying to self and living in the Spirit. St. Paul exhorts us to put on the Lord Christ Jesus. Obedience to this rule of life leads us to form certain Christ-like habits, transforming us into witnesses of the Gospel, regardless of our age, location, or state in life.
Young Adult Ministry
St. Anthony is launching a ministry especially for young adults! Anyone 19-35 is welcome to join us Monday nights at 6:30 in the back room of Symposium Coffee House on Main Street. We’ll have some coffee, bond with our fellow Catholics, and come together in Prayer and reflection as we prepare for the coming week. This is an opportunity to share our Faith and grow in community. It is open to all young adults, whether you join us every week or once in awhile, we want to support each other as brothers and sisters in Christ!
