WE PRACTICE MERCY HERE

The Pope reminds us that Jesus is the face of the Father’s mercy, and that we, in turn, should be the face of God’s mercy in the world.

Join St. Anthony Catholic Community with opportunities for ongoing works of mercy.

Ongoing Opportunities for Mercy

Sacrament of Reconciliation: Saturday 3:30-4:30PM or by appointment

Homebound Ministry: When an individual is unable to attend Sunday mass due to a prolonged illness, injury or age related difficulties, parish volunteers bring the Eucharist to them.

Severe Weather Shelter:  Overnight shelter (5:30PM-7:00AM) during severe weather for our adult neighbors without homes.  November through March on Saturday evenings and when weather drops to 32 degrees and below. A variety of volunteers needed.

Community Café:  Provides a hot meal for members of the community. Share a meal and conversation, or sign up to volunteer. Sunday’s at 5:00pm in the School cafeteria.

Saint Vincent  de Paul:  Providing food, utility, and rent assistance, as well as other assistance to community members in need.  Contact parish office to volunteer.

Prayer Chain:  Join our prayer chain to commit to pray for the intentions of our community, or offer up needs to be prayed for.

Prayer Shawl: Love of knitting and crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace.  Each shawl begins with prayer for the recipient. Intentions are continued throughout its creation.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA):  RCIA is about people on a journey of faith.  It prepares those seeking to become Catholic, or those who wish to learn more about their faith. Whether you are from another faith, from no faith, returning home, or seeking a home;  you are welcome.
